To live without the experience of four seasons, I am sorry for you. Is that harsh? Is it New England pride? We are in the thick of arguably the best season, Autumn. And Autumn to a New Englander means apple picking.

I went straight to work, as one does after such a haul. On a bottle of wine that is, a Bordeaux to be exact. I picked up a bottle of Cailloux de By Médoc 2020 which was rather exciting — a great price point and it paired perfectly well with a cheese board. The cheese board that led to the apple crisp.. which disappeared so fast I don’t have picture proof..

If you are looking for a great wine to snack with this Autumn, you can’t go wrong with anything from the Médoc.
