If there is one band that rearranges my atoms into a calmer pattern, it’s Slowdive. A love affair that will undoubtedly take me across time. When I was younger, I bought a Boss OverDrive guitar pedal and thought I’d be Rachel Goswell though as fate wrote it, I had all the pout and none of the musical talent.

Each of their albums are a treasure in their own right, and they do so well at truly curating a collection of sound– an actual album experience. How often do you find those?
When I first stumbled upon their record in the wild I felt like I had been let in a secret, the kind you don’t want to keep, so I’m not.
I hope this band can weave its way into your life, just where it’s meant to.
What I have on loop into the unforeseeable future:
Slomo
As the Sun Hits
Alison
Crazy For You
No Longer Making Time
